Senior Brian Bennett (Colorado Springs, Colo.) swam in two exhibition events Wednesday evening at the LeClerc Pool on the campus of Notre Dame of Maryland University as the Gallaudet University women’s swimming team participated in a dual meet with the host Gators, who won 68-53.

The Gallaudet University women’s swimming team ran into a very tough Notre Dame of Maryland University squad on the road Wednesday as the Gators won 68-53 at the LeClerc Pool. Gallaudet won five of the 14 events as freshman Alexandra Polivanchuk had a hand in four of the five first-place finishes.

The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced its student-athlete of the week selections for Jan. 23, and Gallaudet University senior James McGowan (Palm Coast, Fla.) was named NEAC Men’s Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week after a dominant performance last Saturday at the Field House pool.
