In its first year in the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) the Gallaudet University athletics program finished fourth overall in the final President’s Cup standings out of 11 programs announced Sunday by NEAC Commissioner Candice Poiss Murray at the annual conference retreat.

The Gallaudet University Athletics Department recently announced the two recipients of the Bison of the Month for January and both are repeat winners. Men's swimming junior Brian Bennett (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and women's basketball senior Easter Faafiti (Pittsburg, Calif.) were selected, marking the second time each has been honored this season.

GU narrowly drops final regular-season meet to Marymount
The Gallaudet University men’s swimming team was on the verge of pulling off one of the biggest upsets in program history as the Bison led 112-111 with two events left on Sunday at the Field House pool against Marymount (Va.) University. The Saints won the next two events claiming the 139-122 non-conference win.

Bison begin New Year with a loss against Hood
The Gallaudet University men’s swimming team lost 118-85 on the road Saturday against Hood College in a non-conference meet to start the second half of the 2010-11 season. The host Blazers won seven of the 11 events and swept the relays against the Bison.

GU men's swim team sets another team record, picks up fourth win
The Gallaudet University men’s swimming team closed out its first half of the 2010-11 season schedule with a solid 72-11 victory over Salem International (W.Va.) University at the Field House pool. The win is the fourth for the Bison (4-3) this season as the men’s swimming program aims for its first-ever winning season.

Men's swimming relay sets new team program record as Bennett wins two events
It was a split outcome for the Gallaudet University men’s swimming team on Friday night in York, Pa., in a non-conference double dual meet. The Bison defeated Penn St.-Altoona 110-89 while it dropped a 156-49 match to the host Spartans of York (Pa.) College.
