Gallaudet Announces 2009 Softball Schedule

Two tournaments highlight the 2009 Gallaudet softball schedule, including a tournament in Virginia Beach and the Gallaudet Invitational. The 2009 schedule features 36 games, plus the CAC Tournament.

The Gallaudet Invitational will be held March 28 and 29.  The Beach Blast Tournament will be held March 6 and 7 in Virginia Beach, Virginia on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan College.

Gallaudet opens the season at home, February 28 with a doubleheader vs. St. Paul's.  Every Gallaudet away game is within three hours of campus, including games in Virginia, Maryland, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania.

Head Coach Sarah Doleac looks forward to the start of the season. "The team has been working hard in the off-season and they are excited about the schedule we will play this year, especially the two tournaments. We have a great group of fourth year seniors, and I look forward to the start of practice in January!"
