GANSEVOORT, N.Y. – The North Eastern Athletic Conference released its Student-Athlete of the Week selections for the week of October 3-9, and GU women's soccer senior goalkeeper Casey McCullough (Oceanside, Calif.) was named Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week after she put together a strong week in goal, helping the Bison to their first two wins of the season. This is women's soccer first NEAC Student-Athlete of the Week award this year.
McCullough had 10 combined saves in the two games, registering two saves in a 2-1 win over Wilson College Wednesday night before posting eight saves in a 2-0 shutout victory over the College of St. Elizabethon Saturday, her first shutout this season.
