Carlisle Robinson Wins 50 yard Butterfly as Gallaudet Starts Off 2008-09 Season

Gallaudet started off the 2008-09 swim season against 17 time defending conference champion Mary Washington and Salisbury University, and fared well against the high level competition.  Mary Washington defeated Gallaudet 87-34 and Salisbury defeated Gallaudet 85-36 in the double dual meet.

Carlisle Robinson had a great meet as she won the 50 yard butterfly in 28.93 and finished second in the 100 yard butterfly in 1:01.82, finishing just behind Katy Turner from Salisbury with a time of 1:01.50.

Gallaudet next faces Goucher College, November 5 at 6 pm in the Field House.
