Kang shatters school mark in javelin, Ransom lowers school record in the hurdles as Bison place 7th overall
The Gallaudet University women’s track and field team placed 7th overall with 42 team points at the Messiah Invitational on Saturday and set two school records in the process. Messiah College won the meet with 195 points followed by Dickinson College (132.5 points) and Lebanon Valley College (132 points).

Thomas O. Berg Track ribbon cutting ceremony set for Tuesday, April 17
On Tuesday, April 17, at 1:30 p.m. the Gallaudet University Athletics Department will hold a special ribbon cutting ceremony at the newly named Thomas O. Berg Track located at Hotchkiss Field. The campus community is invited to attend this free event to celebrate the life of Thomas O. Berg (Class of 1944).

Gallaudet takes 8th place at Goucher Invitational, Ransom wins both hurdle events
The Gallaudet University women’s track and field team placed 8th overall at the Goucher Invitational held on Saturday. The Bison accumulated 37 team points as it edged out Essex Community College by one point and was nearly 10 points behind Shenandoah University in seventh place.

Announcement on Hotchkiss Field being closed during track and field practices
To ensure the safety of the Gallaudet University men’s and women’s track and field teams along with other athletic teams using Hotchkiss Field this spring, the field and track areas will be closed off from 4:45-7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Three schools records fell Saturday for the Gallaudet University women’s track and field program as the Bison competed at the Dr. Harry GM Jopson Invitational on the campus of Bridgewater (Va.) College. There were no team scores at the invitational.

Bison finish 6th at the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet, Kang wins javelin
The 2012 season for the Gallaudet University women’s track and field team got underway Saturday at the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet hosted by Salisbury University on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The Bison finished sixth out of nine teams in the opening outdoor meet.

The Gallaudet University women’s track and field team will kick of their season at the Lloyd Sigler Spring Meet in Salisbury, Md., on Saturday March 3. The Bison will have a lot of new faces this year as they only return four athletes from last year’s team and have 18 new faces on this year’s squad.

Mikaela Hudson named full-time coach for Gallaudet's cross country, track and field programs
The Gallaudet University Athletics Department announced today that Mikaela Hudson is the new full-time head coach for the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field programs as announced by Director of Athletics Michael Weinstock. Hudson begins her new duties as a full-time coach immediately.

2012 GU men's and women's track and field team meeting set for Nov. 3
There will be a team meeting for all Gallaudet University students interested in trying out for the 2012 men’s and women’s track and field teams on Thursday, November 3, at 1:30 p.m. in the Field House gym as announced by head coach Mikaela Gardner Hudson. The meeting is mandatory for returning student-athletes from last year’s teams and newcomers.
