Gallaudet Loses Green Terror Championship to Salisbury; Mounty-Weinstock and Jeter Named All-Tournament

Gallaudet advanced to the Championship game of the Green Terror Tournament but were not able to get past Salisbury, losing in three sets 19-25, 11-25, 17-25. Gallaudet entered the match on a four game winning streak, but ran out of steam against the nation's 24th ranked team.

Gallaudet's Ludmila Mounty-Weinstock and Justine Jeter were outstanding throughout the tournament and both were named to the All-Tournament team.

Gallaudet will face Salisbury again in The Field House October 29 at 7 pm during which the Gallaudet volleyball team will sponsor a Digs for Pink event to raise awareness of and money for breast cancer.

Gallaudet is fighting for a spot in the six team Capital Athletic Conference play-offs and is currently in a tie for fourth place. Gallaudet's next 3 conference matches will be at home starting with Wesley at 7 pm Thursday night, October 16.
